storytelling in transylvanya bootcamp

We organized our first Public Speaking bootcamp 3 years ago in Sibiu: we named it Awesome Public Speaking. The 4 days experience proved to be more than a Public Speaking training: it was a cultural exchange in which participants from Romania, United Kingdom, Germany and Canada have overcome the fear of public speaking, flew a hang glider and explored the surroundings of Sibiu. As we were very happy after this successful event and considering the feedback we received, we now invite you to join us in Sibiu, Romania, from 4 to 7 August 2016, at the Storytelling in Transylvania bootcamp.

There are many reasons why we recommend you to participate in this bootcamp, but we chose to present you only 7 of them:

# 1. You have the opportunity to learn a lot from 2 professionals: our trainers, Alex Glod and Vince Stevenson. Each of them has extensive experience in Storytelling and Public Speaking. You will always have them on hand to answer all the questions you may have when it comes to Storytelling and Public Speaking.

#2. Enjoy a learning vacation. Storytelling in Transylvania is a great learning opportunity and also a way to regain some of the excitement and curiosity that you used to have. You will recharge when exploring the mountain paths in Păltiniș and you will feel the adrenaline running through your veins with the zipline adventure in Arka Park.

#3. During the bootcamp, you will get to practice a lot the Public Speaking and Storytelling techniques. You will receive constructive feedback from the 2 trainers and from the other participants. By the end of  the camp, you will know your strengths when holding a presentation and how to meet the expectations of a versatile audience.

#4. We encourage you to stay authentic – we will make sure that you find your own presentation style and give life to your stories, in order to make them memorable and connect with your audience.

#5. You will meet interesting people and make new friends. Just like you, they will come to discover the beauty of Transylvania, but also our culture and the stories that define us. You will leave with a whole collection of stories, but also with real life lessons shared by the other participants.

#6. The camp is a mind-body workout designed to combine Storytelling and Public Speaking sessions with mountain climbing, zip lining and outdoor stories at the Village Museum in Sibiu, next to our accommodation.

#7. The format of the event and the limited number of 11 participants will give you enough time to practice during the 4 days of camp. We put focus on quality conversations, relevant information and creating a pleasant and supportive atmosphere for learning. We are taking care of everything, from accomodation to meals and local transportation, so that you can enjoy your stay to the fullest.
